Hodzic Construction is the work of Mirza Hodzic — a second-generation contractor backed by a vetted local crew, serving Minnesota's East Metro since 2020.
Mirza Hodzic was on his father's job sites before he was old enough to drive himself there. His dad was a contractor, and summer breaks meant lining up alongside the crew, learning the trade by watching, then doing.
That's an apprenticeship most kids his age didn't get. By the time he was old enough to call it a career, he already had years of hands-on experience to build on.
He went to college for construction. Kept working through it. Got the degree, kept the calluses. Then in 2020, he founded Hodzic Construction with eleven years of trade experience behind him — combining a hands-on apprenticeship with formal training in the discipline.
Today, Hodzic Construction takes on residential remodeling projects of every scale across the East Metro — from single-room refreshes to whole-home renovations. Mirza handles every project personally, bringing in a trusted local crew of vetted craftsmen as each job demands.
Drop cloths. Plastic sheeting. Dust barriers. The areas of your home we're not actively touching get the same respect as the areas we are. Nothing gets ruined in the name of "we'll fix it later."
Tools put away every evening. Debris contained. Pathways clear. The work is loud enough — the visual chaos doesn't have to be.
We sequence the work around how you actually use your home, not around what's easiest for the crew. Where possible, we work in phases that keep the kitchen, bathroom, or bedroom functional while we transform the rest.
